About NMMS exam

1. What is NMMS ?

NMMS full form is National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship. This is a scheme through which a scholarship of Rs 48,000 is given directly into the student’s bank account.

After passing NMMS exam, you will get Rs 48,000 in this way.

  • Rs 12,000 in class 9th
  • Rs 12,000 in class 10th
  • Rs 12,000 in class 11th
  • Rs 12,000 in class 12th

A total of Rs 48,000 will come to your bank account.

2. Who can give NMMS exam ?

The student is currently studying in class 8 and has scored 55% marks in class 7 examination. There is 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST students.

Your father’s annual income should be less than Rs 3,50,000.

Only those students who are studying in government schools can give NMMS exam. Those children who are studying in Private School, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya cannot give NMMS exam.

3. NMMS exam pattern, syllabus, how many marks questions are asked and how much marks do you get after correcting a question, is there negative marking also ?

4. What documents are required to fill the NMMS exam form ?

i. Aadhar Card
ii. Caste Certificate
iii. Income Certificate
iv. Passport Size Photo and Signature
iv. if you have Disability Certificate or Freedom Fighter Certificate then you also submit while form fill up, if you have not these certificate then no problem while form fill up.

5. How to fill NMMS exam form, when will the form come and will it cost to fill the form ?

You can fill the form online from home or you can go to a cyber cafe and fill it.

The form comes between July to October. All states have different months and dates. So keep in mind when the form is going to come in your state, you can also ask this information from your teacher or principal, they will definitely tell you.

You will not have to pay even a rupee to fill the form.
